My new hair toy!

Look what I bought today! Yes..the Ion 1875W Conditioning Hard Bonnet dryer. It's wash day and I was very excited to do a ponytail roller set. Shall I be honest in saying I am really not all that talented in doing my on hair. So I didn't take pictures because, I didn't expect it to go that well.

And....I don't know if it has or not yet. I finished it, but I also wrapped it and I will see the results in the morning. At first sight of taking out the rollers...ehhh... not so hot. We'll see in the morning!

  1. You're going to have a blast with this. I can already wait for your post on wraps, roller sets, deep conditions, and more. I'm still looking into a heated cap so I can sit comfortably longer...maybe nod off!

A lot of things you can do,like roller sets and wrap, take patience and practice. The first run might have you looking like who-did-it-and-ran but the next might be fire. A good product and a good technique takes time. I'm looking forward to reading the highest of highs and the lowest of lows!

  3. Don't give up after one try! Keep practicing.

When I was a kid, we had one of these and we had one that was a cap. Mom used to set our hair and we'd sit with the cap on. I think it would be cool instead of standing, blowing dry, then curling to do this instead while drinking coffee and reading blogs.

Have you tried the Caruso rollers? They're very gentle on hair and hold a set for a long time. I was really ticked off at my husband the other day and I lash out by spending, so I ordered a set from Amazon. lol
